ABOUT THIS EVENT

Disabilities come in all shapes and sizes. Some are visible, while others are non-visible or even episodic. Unfortunately, there still exist many barriers in the business world for women with disabilities.

That’s why the WE-CAN Project is thrilled to host a 90-minute virtual session to recognize and celebrate business ventures being run by women entrepreneurs with disabilities in the greater Kingston region.

Join us to hear some of the stories of amazing women who have overcome unique challenges, and found ways to turn barriers into opportunities and success.

Spotlighted businesses will include Signable Vi5ion, Bread by Elise, Barkn Up the Green Tree, Chloee Catherine Consulting and Studio on the Farm.

The Virtual Cafe will be facilitated by Heidi Penning, Equity Advisor for the Queen’s Human Rights & Equity Office.
