About The Company

Milamore was founded in 2019 by CEO and Creative Director George Inaki Root, built on the foundation of the love and bond between him and his grandmother Milagros, who is a Spanish-Filipino. Mila, for those who knew and loved her, was the very embodiment of her name and the namesake of this brand. Milagros meaning ‘miracle’ in Spanish and amore meaning ‘love’ in Italian is how Milamore was born. George, who is part Japanese and spent many years Japan, is now based in New York and finds inspiration traveling the world. Our unique global designs are inspired by his Japanese heritage, and celebrate many cultures, traditions and innovation.
