ABOUT THIS EVENT

In June, Geek Girl Careers is launching a tech career exploration program for female-identifying and non-binary high school students, in partnership with university professors and alumni.

If you need more clarity about selecting a major or career path, want to learn more about tech or be part of a community of women in STEM, need a powerful addition to a college app or essay (or all four) — this is the program for you.

Every week, you’ll learn about a different sector of tech (engineering, data science, design and business) — both what it would be like if you studied one of those subjects in school and what a potential career could look like (through Q+A sessions, panels and workflow demos). You’ll also receive additional GGC-exclusive resources, opportunities (summer research internships, anyone?) and the chance to work on projects with other cohort members.

Program sessions will be taking place every Wednesday in June (6/9 – 6/30) from 4-6pm PT.
