Latin American Art and Portraiture by Women Artists

ABOUT THIS EVENT

For Ages 16+ – In this ten-week course, we will study different female Latin American artists who dedicated part of their work to representing themselves and/or others through portraiture. Through interpreting their style and themes, we will create our own self portraits and portraits of others. We will study and draw inspiration from the work of Frida Khalo, Norah Borges, Tarsila do Amaral, and Remedios Varo.
