STEM is an approach to learning and development that integrates the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Through STEM, students develop key skills including: problem-solving. creativity. critical analysis.
Canada has emerged as a world leader in many sciences, technology, engineering, and math fields, and many new jobs and career opportunities that have emerged in recent years are STEM-related. As more and more businesses and organizations seek to innovate and to modernize and grow their businesses, the demand for people who can fill STEM-related jobs will only continue to increase.
Mashup Lab, in partnership with Sisters of Science and West Kings High School, will be offering a Fireside Chat focused on entrepreneurs and business leaders that have used STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) in their business and how they’ve applied it in their careers.
This event will be open to any student that would be interested in registering.
