ABOUT THIS EVENT
The Intercultural Dialogue Institute is supporting women’s mental health at The Royal! After this year’s International Women’s Day, we are currently gearing up for the Mother’s Day Edition of ‘Women as Mental Health Warriors’. We are happy to announce that our virtual series will be back on May 4 at 7 pm EDT.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues into spring/summer 2021, we need to take the time to take care of our Mental Health.
The Intercultural Dialogue Institute is partnering with the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre for a conversation about women’s mental health. Join us for an evening to raise awareness for the mental health of mothers and to celebrate women!
Join Ann-Marie O’Brien, Lead of the women’s mental health program at The Royal, Rachel Scott-Mignon, a woman with lived experience who has benefitted from The Royal’s programs, and Tracey Welsh, Director Community Building at The Royal, for a conversation and Q+A about Women’s mental health and Walk/Run for Women. We will also be hearing a performance by folk singer Mia Kelly!
Anyone is welcome to attend this free event. While we ask that interested attendees register on Eventbrite, we will also post the zoom link on our social media pages on the day of the event.
