You won’t want to miss this inspirational event which honors the achievements of 3 outstanding women who have given back to our community and presents 4 scholarships to women with aspirations for their future.

Each of our honorees will share their story and insights about what they’ve done and learned during their journey to achieve their vision.

The program will feature a TV 9 Anchor as the master of ceremony and Janet Newman as the keynote speaker. Janet will share the adventurous spirit and incredible life journey of Clara Pagel. Clara traveled the world as a single woman in the mid 1900’s and wrote letters back to the YWCA Wausau. Janet is in process of publishing the book “Letters from Clara”. Janet was the YWCA Executive Director in the 1990’s.

This is the 28th year of the YWCA presenting recognition to Women of Vision in our community. Past attendees leave feeling motivated by the stories from accomplished women leaders who are focused on making our community a better place for all.
