Women’s History Month A Virtual Exhibit

“From the Suffrage to the new Millennium.”

In honor of the centennial of the passage of the 19th amendment in Congress and Women’s History Month, Federal Hall National Memorial will be presenting a virtual exhibit entitled “From the Suffrage to the new Millennium”.

On June 4th, 1919, Congress passed the 19th amendment which guaranteed women the right to vote. In the 102 years since then, women from all walks of life have made great strides in various fields, and we set out to tell some of their stories.

The virtual exhibit will feature 44 women from 10 decades, as well as a brief timeline of the Women Suffrage Movement.
