1.Trial Period
Does The Collective Rising offer a trial period?
During BETA, The Collective Rising will offer select new members a free-trial period.
What happens after my trial period ends?
Upon being admitted to The Collective Rising, you will be prompted to select a membership plan. You will be auto-charged if you do not cancel your subscription before your free-trial period ends.
If you choose to continue your membership after your trial ends, you’ll be automatically charged in accordance with the subscription plan you selected. You can edit your membership subscription at any time by visiting your dashboard and updating your account preferences.
Why do I need to input a payment method to start my free trial?
The Collective Rising requires a payment method to be entered upfront to ensure users don’t have any interruption in their membership services following the completion of the free-trial.
If you wish to cancel your membership at any time (during your trial period or after) you can do so by updating your membership subscription in your dashboard’s account preferences.
2. APPLICATIONS / MEMBERSHIP
How do I know if I’ve been accepted?
Applicants will be notified of their acceptance via email.
How long is the application review process?
The Collective Rising admits members on a rolling basis.
How does The Collective Rising’s application process work?
The Collective Rising does its best to review applications thoroughly and in a timely manner. The Collective Rising reserves the right to wait-list or deny any application for any reason.
What does The Collective Rising look for in potential applicants?
Some of the things we look for in applicants are expertise in a particular field, work experience, an interest in building a personal brand, a visible desire to discover and support businesses committed to diversity and inclusion, as well as an interest in connecting with and supporting other successful and ambitious women. Well-written and thoughtful responses are always appreciated.
Can I refer other women to apply?
If there is a woman you’d like to propose for membership, please email membership@thecollectiverising.com with the subject line “Member Referral.” Please include the full name of the woman you are referring in the email’s body text. Also, please encourage the woman to apply by clicking Request an Invitation on our website.
We always welcome and appreciate personal introductions to women that are achieving great things!

3. MEMBERSHIP SUPPORT
I am having issues with my dashboard/profile. What should I do?
If you are experiencing any technical difficulties, please email membership@thecollectiverising.com with the subject line “User Support Request.” Our team is happy to answer any questions you have about using our platform.

4. PROFILES
How do I create my profile?
Once you are accepted to The Collective Rising, you will be directed to input a payment method before being automatically forwarded into your profile-builder. Don’t worry – all the information you included in your initial application will be automatically carried over.
How much information do I need to include on my profile? Do I have to answer every question?
We know how busy you are, but trust us, this is important! Your profile on The Collective Rising is how you present yourself to the world. We strongly encourage members to dedicate time, thought, and effort towards their responses – we want the world to know just how amazing you are!
How big should the images uploaded to my profile be?
The Collective Rising strongly advises members to upload high resolution images to their profiles in order to ensure they best represent themselves online.

Can I update or change my profile after it’s live?
Absolutely! In fact, we encourage members to update their profile monthly as their objectives change and their career evolves.

What if I am in more than one industry?
Members of The Collective Rising are grouped by industry. Please select a primary industry that most closely aligns with your current profession, as this will help other members find you. If you’re involved in multiple industries, we encourage you to elaborate on this in the “About” section of your profile.
Do I have to select one location? I travel often.
At this time, The Collective Rising requires members to select a primary location (we suggest you input the city/state/country you predominantly reside in).
How do I search for other members?
You can search our memberbase by industry, location, years of experience, level of education, interests, name, or keyword. We hope members of The Collective Rising that travel often, or have to relocate to a new city will use our member directory as a resource to help forge new relationships.

6. CONNECTION AND ONLINE INTERACTIONS
How can I connect with other members?
We know the last thing our members need is one more platform to check! The Collective Rising encourages its members to connect at events, over email, or via any of the social media accounts they have linked to their profile. Please make sure to include an email address you feel comfortable having visible within our closed network.
Does The Collective Rising have rules about responding to other members?
As a common courtesy, we ask that all members reply to any inbound emails or messages from other members within 10 business days of receiving them.
What is The Collective Rising’s policy regarding solicitation?
We all have great businesses, and we all want to share them, but actively spamming or contacting members using the personal contact information disclosed on their profile solely to sell your products/services are not allowed. If you feel that you have received a message that borders on solicitation, please notify The Collective Rising’s Membership Team. Members that solicit or market their services in an excessive fashion by “cold-emailing” other members will receive one warning. Those that do not follow our anti-solicitation rules moving forward will be removed from the community without a refund.

What is the cost of securing a company membership?
We are thrilled to offer company members a complimentary membership at this time.

We want to help companies connect with our vibrant and ambitious community of women! The benefit of a company membership is the ability to Secure a Directory Listing and Post an Event.
8. EVENTS
Where do events take place?
The Collective Rising is proud to partner with incredible communities, companies and organizations to grant members exclusive access to coveted events in cities all over the world.
Are events free or paid?
It depends! The Collective Rising offers members access to various types of events ranging from casual meet-ups, workouts to elite panels, networking opportunities, and conferences. Some of these events are free, and others require you to purchase a ticket. Please review each event posting to learn more about that event’s specific details and RSVP policy.
How do I post an event?
You can post an event by clicking EVENTS, located in the site’s header, or Post an Event, located in the site’s footer. You can view your live events in your dashboard and in The Collective Rising’s events calendar.
How do I cancel an event I created?
You can cancel an event by visiting the EVENTS page or your dashboard, selecting the event post you wish to cancel, clicking EDIT, and then CANCEL. If you encounter any difficulties, please contact our Membership Team at membership@thecollectiverising.com.
9. DIRECTORY
How do I list my business in The Collective Rising’s directory?
You can list a business in The Collective’s Rising directory by clicking DIRECTORY located in the site’s header, or List a Business, located in the site’s footer. You can preview your Directory Listing before it goes live to ensure all the information you’ve input is correct and properly formatted.
How do I change my directory listing’s subscription preferences?
You can manage your directory listing’s subscription by visiting account preferences located in your dashboard.
