In my career, success is about doing my job well. I want to be recognized as someone who always does her best and tries her hardest to achieve her goals. In my personal life, it is being available and intentional with those I love and overall success is living unapologetically, liking myself at any given time or space, liking what I do and liking how I go about doing it.
One of my core habits is that on most days I get out of bed early and exercise. This is an intentional time for me to plan my day ahead so that I can easily accomplish my daily tasks. Another habit is that I practice mindfulness and practice appreciation and gratefulness on a daily basis. And thirdly, stay inquisitive to learn by reading daily.
I want to be known as someone who lived intentionally, fearlessly and unapologetically.
Resilience. The ability to always stay positive by mentally or emotionally using processes and behaviors in promoting my mental wellbeing and protecting myself from the potential negative effects of stressors. So while experiencing stress, emotional upheaval or challenge, I am able to demonstrate resilience in working through emotional pain and suffering.
“Today you are you. That is truer than true. There is no one alive that is youer than you." We are all unique and in this world for a reason. And that reason is more deeply rooted in finding and expressing our unique voice in the world. To live out our vocation in the world is to find and express our unique voice. I recommit myself daily to do just that, use my unique voice, talents, and passions to make a more beautiful world. I invite you to join me because, as the good doctor says, there really is "no one alive that is youer than you!" ❤️
