I advocated for a student who did not speak English. She needed access to resources that she was not being granted access to, and I fought for her to get them.
Diligence, loyalty, integrity.
Don’t have any expectations, and work harder. I think technology has made so many things so easy for younger generations that they don’t develop grit. The more dues you pay, the more experience you have and the better you can adapt to any situation.
I want my students to learn to let go of judgment and fear and leap into their dream lives. Skip the struggle part and just go for it.
