People mistake/ confuse my demeanor for being mean however I am so open and nice. I love helping people (also known a downfall of mine).
My orphanage. Knowing that I am in charge of 32 children is an amazing feeling. I feel like a mom.
Being able to put my niceness in a box at times. Sometimes, people don't need the nice me. They need me to be professional and hold the fort down.
Hire people that you're comfortable firing. Hiring friends and family is great but once issues arise, there's a level of comfortably that disappears. You refrain yourself because they're family and sometimes, you have to be able to tell it like it is.
I know this is going to sound weird but Beyonce. Looking at the imprint she has on the world as a black woman in a male dominated industry pushes me to want to dominate whatever industry I'm in. She's paved the way for many like her and it pushes me to always give my best in anything I do.
