I am going to be brutally honest here. My public relations and social media work was not taking off as I wanted it to, and I took a huge risk. I put my private life on hold and accepted a starring role on a reality show by Bravo T.V. My family was not thrilled, but they show ran one season and it put me on the map. Internationally, not only in Mexico and the United States where I was previously thriving.
My great friend Elsa Collins is probably the one person that inspires me the most today. She is a social impact professional, who advocates for everything that crosses her path. I have been lucky enough to follow her path and accompany her on some of the projects such as This is About Humanity (advocates for children and families seeking asylum from Latin America to the U.S.) She Se Puede ( an organization started by Elsa together with prominent female celebrities.). Instrumental in the election of democratic senate candidates in Georgia. She is a woman who never stops, who is motivated every single day of her life, who talks her talk and walks her walk.
I love languages and speak three well. I want to refine my Italian and learn a brand new language, perhaps Hebrew or mandarin.
People say to know me is to love me, and I can see why. I am a completely devoted and as I often joke "professional" friend. I am empathetic and a fantastic listener. My greatest ability is to connect people. Ive done it naturally all my liufe, and I have just recently started monetizing that skill . I am a devoted mom and wife and family is always my first priority.
As a 56 year old social media and public relations expert, I find that my age has recently been a handicap. I am currently not employed and finding it hard to get clients. The competition is fierce, especially in today's younger, global demographic.
