Opening up my private practice. I set out to be my own boss and create my own business. I have laid down the foundation and am in the process of putting myself out there.
I decided to not return to my 9-5 job after my maternity leave ended. It was a huge risk I took in order to create something for myself and my family.
Believing in my ability to be a solo business person. I did not receive any training on the business side of my work and have had to figure it out on my own.
The flexibility that has come with becoming my own boss. I'm grateful that I get to choose when I want to work, how much I want to get paid, and who I will work with.
