I have transitioned from working for counseling agencies to working under the umbrella of a company that allows me to choose my target population and work in a more independent manner. I have always wanted to be able to develop my skills in certain aspects of therapy and I now have the opportunity to do so.
Reducing the stigma of mental health, especially in minority cultures. I think that so many people go without mental health care because "it's not what you do" or they're told they have to "suck it up and deal with it themselves". I believe that everyone deserves appropriate health care and mental health is health.

My flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances. I'm great at thinking on my feet and figuring out different ways to approach a problem or situation.
I would love to have a better work-life balance. I miss reading for fun the most.
