When you’re an entrepreneur, your support system is so important. There are amazing highs and challenging lows when you operate your own business. Having a an amazing team around you who keeps you motivated, grounded, and Is there for you as a sounding board is an incredible thing to have. I am truly grateful every day for my mother, husband and my designers & jewelry community, who are the most incredible team.
One of the designers I represent, has been working hard to be a part of a prestigious area of an industry trade show. It has been something we have both been working towards for the last few years, and this year she was accepted.
As a business agent for fine jewelry designers, there are many areas that are focused on in order to build their brand. When one of my designers is either recognized by a retailer, boutique or magazine editor, we as a team get extremely excited. It is such a high to be able to let one of my designers know, their collections will either be in a retail boutique or as a part of an editorial feature in a magazine.
Our community. I’ve been in the luxury jewelry industry for 20 years, and the connections and relationships that you form are truly lifetime friendships.
When I started my company Barri Luxury Consulting in 2014, I named the company after my grandfather Barry. My grandfather who was also an entrepreneur but in a different industry, achieved incredible success in difficult circumstances. His accomplishments motivate me every day to be the best I can be in my field.
