This year I launched a skincare manufacturing company, jDE, this company is literally 2 years and a lot of investment in the making. Skincare manufacturing is a passion of mine. I believe that the quality and cleanliness of skincare products need to be revolutionized - that is the mission of my skincare company, jD Bath Co. That change starts at manufacturing. Owning a manufacturer allows me to guarantee the quality and non-toxic standards for my products, as well as other vendors who share the same beliefs. jDE is the only Black woman. owned automated skincare manufacturer in Georgia. That is something that I am very proud of.
The people in my life. To me, the quality of my life is in direct relation to the quality of people around me. I am forever grateful for the tribe of people around me who inspire me and bring joy and color to my life.
Entrepreneurs often subscribe to the idea that they have to be on 100% of the time and hustle hard to make their goals. I believe that what is for me can't pass me by. This belief allows me to rest and take time our to care for myself without fear that I will lose out on opportunity. Additionally, I don't take every opportunity that comes my way. I get into partnerships and deals that are a good fit for my values and standards.
The legacy that I would like to leave in the world is making this a better place for women. Specifically, I would like to revolutionize access to and the products which support women's health.
