What advice would you like to share with the next generation?

No matter how far you'll go in life, always remember your roots. Since I was little, my parents always remind my sisters and me to never forget where we came from. This connected to remembering where you were born, where you grew up, where your family came from, and where is your home. Nowadays, I learned my deep roots from the unconditional love of my family and friends to life-changing lessons from my insightful teachers helped build a strong foundation of my career and mold me the person I am today.

What are you most grateful for?

Even though this tends to be said a lot, I am grateful for my family and friends. Cliche yes, but without them, I won't be as grounded and well-rounded or even exist today. Without their unconditional love, humility, respect, and understanding, I won't be where I am today. Yes, it's admiring to work independently to achieve my hopes and dreams, but sharing success with others is more rewarding.

What is your favorite quote and why?

This quote came from a song, but, I tend to preach it as if its a reminder to others. "You'll Never Walk Alone," is a chant and a song my favorite football (soccer) club tends to cry out during matches. I sometimes say it to myself and my loved ones. Sometimes we get caught up with the things buzzing around us and whenever our lives get too overwhelming we need to remind each other that we're not alone in the world. There's always someone to help you get back up, a shoulder to cry on, hold a hand, or simply just to talk to while you watch them glow with passion and humility.

What is your favorite phrase or saying?

"Be Always Stoked!" is a personal phrase I tend to say with a smile on my face. At first, my family and friends don't understand the meaning behind the phrase but its simply saying "Be always excited and happy no matter what." Whenever I am feeling low I remind myself that I should be stoked because it's just a bad day and tomorrow will be filled with new excitement and possibilities to put a smile on my face.

About

I spend my days working at a sign company outside New York City. Besides laying out designs for up incoming buildings around the Tri-State area, I’m a local photographer trying to stay in one piece after a day of hungry bear chases and rooftop jumping. Kidding! I’m always out and about capturing moments worth telling a story over good food and good company. Also, I am slowly going back to film after picking up video editing projects for my job’s social media.
