Being financially independent and creatively satisfied in a career of my own making.
I would start sooner. Worry less about failing, and more about wasting time in the wrong profession. I would think harder and more bravely about what it is I actually wanted to do and achieve with my life, rather than just waiting for inspiration (and confidence) to hit.
"If it's meant to be, it'll happen." I don't agree with this at all, and in fact I think I wasted a lot of precious years in my twenties thinking that the right job/idea/career will suddenly strike and that would be it, without any hard work, thought or interrogation of what I really wanted to do with my life. The same goes for love. If you want something, you have to work for it and make it happen, otherwise it can slip away.
Through my business I want to redefine traditions around buying and wearing fine jewellery, particularly in the engagement ring market, helping people feel comfortable choosing an engagement ring or piece of meaningful jewellery that reflects who they are rather than what they are expected to wear.
Working too late at night keeps me awake! And then my buzzing brain won't shut down...
