The amazing women who are a part of The Collective Rising's community. I am so grateful to you all! Each one of you inspires me daily to show up as my best and highest self.
I have two favorites that quickly come to mind! The first one was said by Malcom Forbes and it goes "It's always worthwhile to make others aware of their worth." I also love this line from Rudyard Kipling's poem "If" and it goes "If you can fill the unforgiving minute with sixty seconds’ worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it." So often we go through life, actively avoiding the present moment. Our head is consumed by future thoughts, or perhaps, we are reminiscing about the past and "what once was." It's an unfortunate truth, but it is rare that we actually, truly, and fully show up to the present moment. The great shifts and discoveries of my life have always been triggered by a moment of presence. The present moment is a treasured gift and is all we ever actually have in any given moment. We have a choice of what to do with this gift - and what I try to do each day (and urge my community to do as well) is make the most of it.
"This or something better." Unfortunately, many times in life we close ourselves off from what could be amazing opportunities because we think that we have to "stick to our plan" or that "what we think we want" in that very moment is what is going to make us the happiest/most successful long term. From personal experience, I have found that some of my life's biggest blessings have had to do with things I wanted NOT happening. My advice to others is to trust that if something you wanted hasn't worked out, it is because something even better is on the way.
Kitty has a thorough background in creative direction, brand development, content strategy and content creation, community build-out and event production.
She has extensive experience working as a creative director and creative brand consultant and has helped many influential individuals, start-ups, as well as luxury brands, craft thoughtful brand messaging, conceptualize unique and engaging programming, expand their community and curate an elevated and memorable brand presence.
After graduating top of her class from The University of Southern California, where she studied Film and Public Relations as an undergraduate student, Kitty went on to work with a number of the decade’s most notable female empowerment initiatives, before founding the premier digital membership community for women, The Collective Rising.
In December of 2021, Kitty graduated from The London School of Economics with her master’s degree in Global and Social Impact and Innovation. She spent the duration of her program heavily researching and focusing on issues related to mental health and mindfulness. She is currently undergoing training for her certifications in MBSR and MBTR therapies and techniques at The University of Oxford.
Kitty has extensive experience working in the fields of social activism, women’s issues, entertainment, and media, as well as on wellness and mindfulness initiatives, and lends her refined eye and global business sensibilities to all the endeavors she pursues.
Kitty serves on the events & planning committee for Foster Nation and is a Business Advisor at Enactus United Kingdom, where she aids women in achieving greater financial independence through self-employment initiatives.
She is based between London, New York, and Los Angeles.
