I define success in terms of contributing a positive impact. This impact could be to organizations, communities, or people. You can be just as successful as a mentor, a leader, or a friend.
Never stop learning. No matter your level in a company or age, you can always learn something. Personally or professionally. Be optimistic. We only live once and you need to have fun along the way! Be kind to others. Relationships are the real currency. Even if you have differences with another, focus on being constructive and understanding.
Live each day like it could be your last. Try to enjoy each and every day. Notice the small things. Start each day by thinking positively and gratefully.
I want to leave a meaningful impact wherever I go and whatever I do. With my family and friends, in my community, and across my organizations, it's important for me to add value by listening, supporting, and giving my all.
This has been one of the hardest years in my career to date, but it's important to be surrounded by your own personal Board of Advisors - family, friends, mentors. Make sure to check in with them regularly to feel the support and love. And my other secret, EXERCISE. I love to get my cardio on after a challenging day!
