After years and years in big international agencies with many awards won, I now know that true success is not a Cannes Lions, but a client who tries to make a difference in the world calling me, to tell me their sales have improved and therefore they can support more people in need with what they do. Making a difference in the world and helping the good guys be seen and grow is the best feeling!
We are hoping to work more and more remotely. Not only because of the pandemic, but also because the world is where we draw inspiration from. Being able to travel the world while working with the most inspiring people would be my goal.
Leaving my successful career in advertising, working with big clients all around the world to start my own business with a focus on ethical and sustainable brands was super scary. But despite all the difficulties also very rewarding and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
Compassion and empathy are constant companions in our work. Understanding people's why and reason for doing what they do and accepting them for who they are is the foundation of good work.
Stand by your values. Care about what you do and who you do it with. And mostly, take care of yourself first. As exciting and important this job might look, it's all just work. Your life and health and people matter more!
