Living during a time of so much pain and uncertainty, I am eternally grateful for my endlessly supportive family and friends, my health, and that I have the ability to speak up and voice my opinions on anything and everything.
I aspire to eventually run my own business or work in-house for a female-driven corporation that achieves significant change.
Currently, New York City is facing an unprecedented fiscal crisis as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This has made it extremely challenging to secure and maintain prior year levels of funding for many Nonprofit organizations Citywide, all of whom are grappling with their own challenges and all of whom provide critical and much-needed services for some of the City's most vulnerable populations.
I love working in the political realm because I remain in the know and up to date on all political happenings at the City, State and Federal levels. I have a certain high level of backend knowledge of New York City's politics that can only be acquired by having a front row seat, so to speak. Though I work on the private side rather than the public, I am constantly advocating for organizations across the City who strive to make a difference. In this political and fiscal climate, it is important to be able to advise clients in a timely matter on all new City and State developments.
Sometimes we have to let go of our wants in order to fulfill our needs.
