My greatest strength is my voice because I speak out for what's right and just, for not only myself, but also others in need.
The best piece of advice is actually from a Dreamworks movie..."Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present." I love this because I think staying in the present and thinking of the "now" is one of the most powerful things to do. Following this advice, I feel more productive, focused on my goals, and overall, clear minded. Because I am living in the "now," and enjoying today, rather than worrying about tomorrow or thinking about the past.
"When women support each other, incredible things happen." This rings true to me. I feel most empowered when I voice my opinion out or when I'm fighting for a cause, and another woman voices that same message alongside me. I believe that we're stronger together, and we can achieve more together. That support and pillar of encouragement is what motivates me to do better and better.
"If you have enemies, it means you stood up for something, sometime in your life," by Winston Churchill. This quote truly exemplifies my life's experiences and adversities in one sentence. Sometimes people only like hearing what they want to hear, even if it's considered "bad," because unfortunately, the majority of people tend to follow others blindly...this is what society has conditioned people into thinking -- that "if others do it, it must be right." However, I've been known to speak out and try to fight for the ethical and moral rights for others; the ramification of this, is that one finds people who do not agree or oppose your ideals. But, this allows one to clear the view for those who have similar values, ideals, and a vision.
