I used to be a personal chef.
I feel most fulfilled when my clients get feedback about their social media offline. It is the most amazing thing to know that what we are doing is permeating real life, and that the authenticity I am trying to help cultivate is coming thru. Especially when my clients are able to focus on this and not on the numbers, I know I am doing my job right.
Getting to meet so many amazing women and getting to learn about so many amazing brands. I truly miss the face to face experiences that covid has taken from this, but I feel so blessed that I get to interact with women doing so many great things, and that I so often am in a position to help lift up their voices.
At the start of my business, I had to fire a client. This was so hard, as I had no savings, no guaranteed income, and I was taking a risk because it was not working out. I am so happy I did, and in retrospect it was the best decision I could have made. I since have buttoned up a lot of aspects of my company, but took this experience of someone trying to walk all over me and made myself stronger.
