If I could start over, I would have worked on more film departments in Louisiana, when I lived there after the tax incentives for film was passed. You have to try all departments to understand your true passion. I stuck with the camera crew, which I don't regret, but I wish I tried to work with wardrobe and set design.
I was shooting my short film with students at Flashpoint Chicago and we had a scene where we had an actor run through the bridge and we had to use a van to shoot him running and make a U turn to catch his expression, over and over and over. I was sure we were going to crash or get the police on set. We did not and we got the amazing shot that everyone remembers.
My dream is to become a Director. I love Independent films because you get to keep your voice and message, but creating female superheroes would be a dream come true.
Perfectionist, you will never give up on a project. Social Intelligence I have worked in the hospitality industry and film industry. You must get people to work together. Optimism when everything goes wrong on set, I am always looking for the silver lining.
My dreams are very detailed and I always have a pen and paper next to my bed, so I can write down my dreams that turn into my short films.
