Do you ever find that there are things about you people misunderstand? If so, what are they?

People misunderstand my work ethic for "doing too much." My work ethic has always been "can't stop won't stop" ever since I was young. Often times in work environments, I was told to "take a step back" or not to do something specific because it made others feel like they weren't doing enough. People mistake my kindness for weakness. I have been put in situations where people think they can step all over me because of how kind I am. I remember being a manager at 17 years old, and when someone found out about my age, they would treat me differently--thinking I was "too young" for it. Ever since then I never shared my age. When I do, people still call it out.

What advice would you like to share with the next generation?

You can do anything that you set your mind to. Try new things, a lot of them actually. Anything that interests you, give it a try. Remember that it's the journey not the destination that matters. Take your time. Don't rush anything, and be as present in the moment as possible. Think and plan for the future of course but enjoy what you're doing while you're doing it. The process will include obstacles along the way but they only come about to make you stronger. There's no straight path to success but rather a bumpy road. Believe in yourself and never let anyone impede on what you know is right for you. You are strong. You are beautiful. You are more than capable of achieving that goal that you envision. You got this!

What is the best part about working in your industry?

I love meeting new people and learning more about them. Most of my work has been in the sports world but I also do a lot in the the community, food, and fitness industry. Everything I do involves some type of human interaction whether it be interviewing someone, meeting people at events, or customers/clientele. It's amazing to learn about people and their different walks of life.

What do you want your legacy to be?

I want to inspire millions across the world. I want to be known as the woman who went after everything she wanted, and achieved it. The woman who started from the bottom (literally) discovering her own pathway, dreams, and desires. A billionaire with multiple companies that helped change the world for the better. Everything I have achieved and earned, I worked for so I want everyone to know that they can do the same.

What makes you feel the most empowered?

I feel the most empowered when someone tells me that I've inspired them. It's an amazing feeling knowing that something you've done has positively impacted someone else to be the best version of themselves. It reminds me that even when it doesn't feel like anyone is watching, someone is. Additionally, seeing someone else reach and achieve their goals is super empowering. It reminds me that I am fully capable of achieving all that I want. Empowerment truly makes me feel empowered. When someone sends a message to remind you that what you're doing is helping them, automatically my spirits are lifted, and I feel empowered to continue.
