I am loyal, hard working, and resilient.
I am very passionate about representation in the beauty industry. As a social media professional, I have a lot of influence on who is represented and take that responsibility seriously. Everyone should be able to look at ads or social media and see themselves represented there. I have felt a keen sense of belonging in this industry and want everyone to be able to feel the same.
The best part about being in the beauty industry is being surrounded by the top creatives and professionals in their fields. It is so inspiring to learn from stylists and artists on a daily basis and pick their brains on trends, techniques, and the industry as a whole from the other side of it.
My mom always tell s me to "do it afraid" and I live by that rule a lot, and it has almost always paid off. Moving to LA, traveling alone, taking personal risks were and still are scary things, but I am so glad I was able to do them, even if I was afraid.
My memoir would be titled "Things I've Googled for You." I am a curious person and rarely get through a documentary or movie at home without several Wikipedia or IMDB pages pulled up, learning more about the subject or actors. Learning is a lifelong activity, one that I relish.
