Success, to me, doesn't come in the form of praise or money or popularity. Success is not giving up. It's challenging yourself, trying new things, running full-speed out of your comfort zone. It's discovering new interests, it's failing at something, and then failing again. It's perseverance, passion, and patience.
You are going to be told you're too young, too old, too small, too big, too quiet, too loud, too slow, too fast. None of that matters. You can do anything. You can BE anything. You don't have to fit into some neat little boxes.
I just finished my certification to be a children's yoga instructor!
To make a difference. Whether that's through education, working with at-risk populations, or through conservation research. I want to make a difference. I want my work to be towards making this world a better place for those who come after me.
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it" Why should we wait around until something breaks to try to make it better? Why can't we be constantly pushing to improve things?
I’m a silly dancer, a breakfast enthusiast, and a Certified Children’s Yoga Instructor. Currently an Environmental Biology Student, I try to combine my ongoing educational journey with my practical knowledge from her previous degrees in Psychology and Political Science to explore the intersections of gender, power, and the environment.
