I would like to learn more about myself. With everything happening this year, I have been been spending some time really understanding myself, my motives, my inspirations and I believe it's been really helpful in helping me move forward in a positive way.
As we have started Sincerely Capri, I love to hear all about our customers stories. Everyone comes from such a different perspective, but they all have one goal of keeping memories alive and it's so beautiful to be able to hear everyone's unique individual stories that mean so much to them.
My biggest challenge is finding the time and balance between work and family. We are just starting our family and I want to spend as much time with my daughter and us all as a family, but also am trying to build a business at the same time. It's hard to make time for both when both can require all your energy, so finding the balance is really difficult.
Always ask for help and give yourself grace I've always been the type of person who has been very proud to figure things out myself and do it myself and been pretty successful, that was until I became a mom. This was an entirely new world for me and a friend told me, don't be afraid to ask for help and give yourself grace. This really opened up my eyes and as soon as I opened up more about my struggles, they seemed to be less like struggles. This has translated to my career now too in that I am quickly learning with a start-up that there is so much I don't know and that asking for help when needed and giving myself the time to understand that I may not know it all was OK. It's all part of the learning process.
Watching my daughter learn and grow and making memories with her makes me feel the most fulfilled. Motherhood is such a rollercoaster, but at the end of the day, seeing how proud she is of the smallest accomplishments makes me feel fulfilled.
