What is something that many people do not know about you that you are proud of?
For some reason, people think I am fearless. I have no idea why. I talk a lot about imposter syndrome and how I have struggled with it my entire life. I prefer to lean towards being courageous, rather than live my life avoiding fear. For me, fear is such a natural feeling and I have learned how to move ahead in spite of it – I don’t let inertia set in on my dreams.

Share a piece of advice or a lesson you wished you learned earlier in your career.
I wish I had known earlier that it is okay not to have all the answers yourself. In recent years, I have come to realize that asking for help or seeking support is not a sign of weakness. These days, I rely on my coach and network of friends and family to support me. I am at my best and feel my most creative when I am bouncing ideas around with others.

Tell us about a recent experience that has sparked growth, new insight, or played a role in your professional development?
After my children left for college (leaving me an empty nester), I came to the realization that I had been acting on autopilot for years. I made a conscious shift to live intentionally became intentional and began a personal journey of self-discovery and internal growth. My confidence increased and I found the courage to share my story. This inspired me to encourage others to do the same. I became a life coach, author, and speaker.
